Since 2012, the Creative Computing Club (CIC) has worked with several thousand young people across Suffolk, helping them to engage in worthwhile and inspiring technology-based activities.
We deliver courses on computer programming, video game design, hardware programming, web development, electronics and robotics, through our informal and non-competitive environment. This has allowed the young people we work with to gain confidence and qualifications in areas that interest them, while also making sure that we are adhering to the latest technology trends, needs and requirements of their generation.
The positive the impact we have on young peoples lives, the educational and social opportunities we provide them are of more importance to us than generating a profit. All our young people are entitled to a high-quality education, grounded in centred on individual goals in a positive and nurturing environment.
We promote exceptional teaching and learning and recognise and celebrate academic excellence and achievement by providing one-to-one workshop, group sessions and coaching for those who are disadvantaged. We provide innovative teaching informed by research and effective practice, by embracing the use of technology to improve the quality of teaching and learning and in doing so, contribute to the lifelong education of the young people we serve.
We are proud to be at the forefront of technology-focused education, while continuing to deliver exceptional learning experiences to young people who are passionate about the benefits of technology. We deliver engaging and effective teaching based on our core values and the best, most up-to-date technological practices which enable young people attending our courses to achieve their academic ambitions and lifetime careers. We have made a positive difference to the future of our young people and their families, the careers of our staff, as well as contributing to the wider community.
