AbilityNet Tech4Good Awards 2021 Finalists Announced
June 8, 2021
We are proud to announce this year’s finalists and congratulate all the fantastic businesses, people and initiatives that are paving the way for a more inclusive, accessible and better world through the power of digital technology.
The finalists have been selected across the 10 categories, including the Sustainability Award and AI for Good Award, which are new this year. They include businesses, charities and young people who are tackling some of the biggest issues of our time, including social isolation caused by the pandemic, research into rare diseases, diversity in the tech industry and improving health services for people in remote communities.
Chair of Judges, Robin Christopherson, AbilityNet
Robin Christopherson, Head of Digital Inclusion at AbilityNet and Chair of the Awards Judging Panel said, “If there’s anything that the last year has taught us, it is that technology is a powerful tool that keeps everyone connected and supports those in need.
“This year’s finalists help to fill the gaps where accessibility and inclusion fall through with the current technology landscape, providing life changing resources and tools for those in need. I’m really looking forward to seeing these finalists progress and what they achieve following the Tech4Good Awards.”
