Since we officially launched the Tech4Good Awards 2015 at the beginning of the month we’ve been flooded with tweets, nominations and press coverage across the Internet. It’s been great to see the sheer amount of coverage that’s popped up, and the judges are already getting nervous at the impending decisions they’ll have to be making in just a few weeks.
TechBritannia wrote a fantastic piece on the Awards, highlighting last year’s Judges Special Award winner Jimmy Wales and double-Award winners SpecialEffect, who took home the Accessibility Award and the Winner of Winners Award. You can read the article on the TechBritannia website.
Suchandrika Chakrabarti, from Community Newswire and Media Trust, attended the launch event at the top of BT Tower and wrote a great piece on her blog. You can read it on Suchandrika’s blog, To strive, to seek, to find… and to find out more about Media Trust, supporters of the Tech4Good Awards since they began in 2011, visit their sponsors page.
Communications Consumer Panel are a group of independent experts that carry out research, provide advice and encourage governing bodies like Ofcom and the EU to look at issues through the eyes of consumers, citizens and small businesses. You can read the feature on the Awards on the Communications Consumer Panel’s blog.
