Magnify Access: The Workplace Accommodation System
2026, Finalist, Workplace Inclusion Award
Magnify Access takes on a stubborn workplace barrier with a model designed for real operational change. If adopted widely, it could help large employers deliver faster, fairer support to disabled staff across thousands of accommodation requests.
Magnify Access is tackling a persistent barrier in workplace inclusion. Disabled employees often face slow, medicalised and confusing accommodation processes that depend on disclosure, manual case handling and inconsistent decisions. That creates delay, stress and unequal access to support. Magnify Access responds with a digital workplace accommodation system built by disabled people for disabled people. It focuses on functional needs rather than diagnosis and uses AI-supported intake to turn user-described challenges into accommodation recommendations more quickly and consistently. Early evidence is promising. In testing across more than 75 simulated user cases, the platform accurately identified functional limitations and relevant accommodation suggestions in around 85% of cases. It also reduced the time needed to generate an initial accommodation plan from several days to under 10 minutes, a potential reduction of more than 70% at the early intake stage. This gives organisations a more practical way to remove procedural barriers, reduce delay and make workplace support easier to access.
