PATHFINDER brings together wearable tech, AI and home-based care in a way that could change long-term management of Parkinson’s. With strong clinical results and growing real-world use, it has clear potential to improve lives at global scale.

PATHFINDER is tackling one of the biggest gaps in Parkinson’s care. More than 10 million people worldwide live with Parkinson’s disease, yet over 90% of their care happens at home without continuous monitoring, tailored therapy or clear signals of deterioration. Falls, freezing of gait and loss of mobility can quickly reduce independence and increase pressure on carers and health systems. PATHFINDER works with the WALK wearable device to change that. The device delivers home-based therapy while the platform analyses gait data, predicts fall risk and gives personalised guidance to users, carers and clinicians. The impact is already strong. Clinical studies with 60 patients showed a 58% improvement in mobility, a 56% improvement in freezing of gait severity and an 86% positive response rate. In real-world use, the solution has supported more than 300 people, delivered over 3,000 hours of therapy and helped prevent more than 100 falls and injuries. This gives people with Parkinson’s a more practical way to stay mobile, safer and more independent.
